inTEST Expands Account Management For Asia

Move underscores inTEST Corporation’s strong commitment to increasing business in the large – and quickly growing – Asian semiconductor market..

CHERRY HILL, NJ, July 28, 2005 inTEST Corporation (Nasdaq: INTT), a world leader in developing and manufacturing equipment that reduces the cost of semiconductor testing, has announced the addition of two new account managers for the Asian market.
Working with inTEST’s existing network of sales representatives and distributors in Asia, the account managers will provide key customer support for all of the company’s manipulators, docking systems, and tester interface products in the region.

Jamal Ahmad is the new Regional Manager for Southeast Asia, responsible for Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand. Mr. Ahmad has more than 18 years’ experience in the semiconductor industry, including production, equipment manufacturing, and sales. Prior to joining inTEST, Mr. Ahmad served in regional sales management and business development positions with N.V. ICOS Vision Systems and Zen Voce Technology.

Ted Chen has been appointed Account Manager for Northern Asia, and will have responsibility for inTEST accounts in Taiwan, China, and Korea. Dr. Chen, whose PhD is in Materials Science and Engineering, comes to inTEST from Schlumberger and Soluris, formerly the Schlumberger FE Division. He has considerable semiconductor experience in Taiwan, China, Korea, and Southeast Asia, and has worked in a number of FE metrology specialties, including defect inspection, yield management, overlay and CD-SEM metrology.
