Modular Cabled Interface for Your Rack-Mounted Test Equipment

Do you need to adapt your in-house rack mounted test equipment to test wafers? inTEST has the answer, with the Centaur modular cabled interface.

A cable-termination PCB is added to a standard top-loading Centaur interface to allow a cable interconnect to remote equipment. With this adaptation, you can perform wafer-level testing of ICs using your own, in-house-developed test equipment.

This Centaur unit features a 12” probe card arrangement with up to 16 Transpar signal modules. The system is equipped with 150 coax cables terminated into a Burndy connector system, which translates the coax cables into three mass-disconnect block assemblies. This particular application mixes the 150 cables into over 800 contacts with associated grounds. Robust strain relief is also provided to ensure low stress and long service life for your cables.

A unique locking mechanism allows you to quickly remove the cable termination PCB assembly from the Centaur tower. And you can easily interchange different cable PCB assemblies on this very flexible Centaur platform.

As with all Centaur interfaces, you can easily fir this unit with probe adapter rings, to allow the tower to be used on any probe station from EG, Accretech, or TEL.
