V-Touch Extended-Life Contactors feature precision engineering and advanced materials to give you more-precise pin alignment and significantly longer cycle life in Final Test. The benefits are considerable, from better test results and higher yields to lower test cost.
 Precise Pin Alignment.
V-Touch critical-feature machining tolerances are far tighter than those of conventional products: less than 0.0003” (approximately 8 microns). This unrivaled precision engineering means better pin alignment, critical to getting repeatable electrical measurements and fewer false negatives.
Significantly Longer Cycle Life.
The V-Touch’s accurate pin alignment avoids premature pin wear. V-Touch contactors are built to hold that alignment far longer as well; they are manufactured with state-of-the-art DuPont Vespel® polyimide, an extraordinary organic polymer renowned for its low wear, outstanding creep resistance, impact resistance, and strength.
Optimized Electrical Performance.
With V-Touch your probe selection is virtually unlimited. Just choose whichever spring probe best suits your test. We’ll design a V-Touch Extended-Life Contactor optimized around your approved spring probe.
Faster, Easier to Use.
An optional Hand Test Assembly is available to give you a convenient way to manually test the device for initial engineering evaluation and individual lab applications.
Also available is a Replaceable Floating Nest that lets you continue to use the same body and spring probes when your test needs change; simply swap-out just the nest as the pin pattern changes over multiple packages.
